Funny thing...this reads like a goodly number of "LSU Fans" on this board.

And a goodly number of 'LSU Fans' who I bet didn't have a problem voting for an admitted sexual deviant/predator for US Senate.

Hill didn't think of doing this out of the goodness of his heart. HE WAS ORDERED TO PAY THE MEDIAL BILLS!

did the "victim" apologize to hill for calling him the N word?

also, why did the victim request that the story of what happened be kept out of the news and social media?

why did he want to avoid this going to court and having to file a law suit?

because he is a big time frick up and his past would haunt him in a court room just like J Hill's

Hmmm. Interesting.

Not really. The kid probably wants to avoid backlash, and also reports are that he instigated by insulting and making fun of Hill's criminal background, not to mention possible racial slurs, so he can benefit a lot by asking Hill not to tell his side of the story, which may actually end up hurting Hill in the court of public opinion.

The victim seems to actually be being mature about the whole thing, though, and seems to realize that he and Hill BOTH acted improperly and wish the whole thing had never happened. Just like any of us normal flesh and blood sinners that have done something we regretted the next day that wouldn't have done had we taken ourselves out of the heat of the moment.

I respect the victim here for accepting his role in the whole situation, unlike that opportunistic "victim" from Shady's last year.

Blaize, however, asserted, "This was a bar fight. The 15 or 20 seconds of video where you can see Jeremy on it is certainly not indicative of the whole evening."

At the victim's request, Erwin ordered Hill and Bayardo not to comment publicly about the case. When asked by Erwin if he understood his plea, Hill said he did, and added, "I apologize."

Prosecutors said the victim, an LSU student, did not ask for jail time. He requested only that Hill and Bayardo share his $750 in medical expenses, not have any contact with him or his family and not comment publicly about the incident on social media or in any forum.

Yeah, because that's the way the world works. Douche bag mouths off, gets his arse whipped then the guys dishing out the beating show up to pay his medical bills.

Do some of you people think before you type out shite? Y'all are acting like Hill just jumped out and decked some random guy on the street.

With Les Miles unable to muster the guts to say, "I did this." Miles ducked behind his players, using them as a human shield,

The fact that he thinks Les didn't make the decision is kind of funny. Yes, he asked the team, yes he gave them credit. Yes, it was still Les Miles who made the final decision.

This is the kind of stuff that gets the players to respect him and love him like the father figure they say he is. This kind of stuff gets them to play harder for the guy.

I'll disagree with you on that one.

Asking for a gag order so people don't find out what a dickbag you are is the easy way out, not the mature way. Own your mistakes. Hill has to, this kid should too.

Do you not understand the difference between being charged with a crime and convicted of a crime?
