Was at the 96 state game, he had the Carencro Lbs and Dbs on skates. He looked like a grown man playing against boys.

That isn't true. He was held back one year like everybody else. Dude was a stud, and by all accounts is a class act.

He was so big and strong he shouldn't been allowed to play high school football. I still have nightmares of him running through the Bearcats in 1996.

Ok guys, this is where I tell you a story and you don't believe it. I went to OCS in Monroe. Tommy Banks played there before he left for West Monroe. I practiced against him. He was a 9th grader and I was a junior. We all heard about his junior high games and how hard he hits. My first practice I wanted to teach him a lesson. He was running with the scout team. We were running a short pass play. I knew he was going to rush me, so at the snap of the ball I looked one way and as he rushed, thinking I was not watching him, I torpedoed into his thigh. Now I did knock him over but he just about gave me a concussion. I was dizzy and he got up like nothing happened. We played that year with him on the offensive line, next to me. I loved having him on the line. Our double teams were epic. He was a beast. Stronger then you could imagine. He left OCS because he was not getting to play the position that he wanted. Big mistake by the coaches to let him go.
