Can we get some receipts on the losers that were melting in the 3rd inning?

They've neva seen a baseball game....sad.

I think the issue is, most fans don't think we should have any problem with MSU this year, me included. Slow starts will get you beat in the SEC.

State is LSU's biggest baseball rival. Im glad we won game 1.

So we should win every game by how many exactly? Baseball doesn’t work like that lol.

That's dumb. The whole league is good at baseball, and in baseball anything can happen on any given day

A football mindset will leave you constantly disappointed when watching baseball.
LSU can be beaten by any SEC team on any given day in baseball.

They looked like crap the first five innings. End of story. Here’s the thing. The team we watched last night won’t be the same team in 30 days. The lineup will change, guys will settle in and step up.
Baseball teams that reach Omaha don’t necessarily have the most talent, they get hot at the right time. They evolve throughout the season and then the magic happens. Fans, myself included get too caught up in the one game and forget about the process of evolving.
One thing about Jay, he’s shown a willingness to shake things up when it counts.

I won’t budge from my position that Yeskie is a bad pitching coach.
That said, Cowan was fantastic last night and has been all year. There is very very limited depth of quality pitching it seems, but Cowan is more elite than he was at Woffird, and you’d have to give Yeskie credit for that.

Then stop letting your feminine qualities shine through after every run the other team scores

Just....let it be let it be. forgiven me for all I've done

I swear it's as if some of these LSU fans have never watched a baseball game. Plenty of examples of better teams struggling initially with a starter but once they get into the bullpen they shine. LSU batters did a great job even when they were losing of getting the pitch count up on their starter. It was only a matter of time. But having Cowan was the door slammer.
