I know people don't like to compare the two but that fake field goal stop is definitely a play that the honey badger would've made.

He’s gotten better and better and better.

But Tyrann was just insane in 2011.

I’ve never seen any defender change a game the way he did.

It was a pick or a forced fumble or a punt return almost every since game.

The fact that he came in 5th in the Heisman voting shows how big a joke the Heisman is.

Honey Badger would’ve stripped the ball from the kicker and returned it for a TD.

Depit wins as a pure safety. But there's nobody like Mathieu at creating the chaos he did. That man had a knack for forcing fumbles.

I thought his best play was not allowing the reverse handoff on the 2 pt conversion. that got all the momentum back for us after they had a long TD drive

He’d go for 2 and convert. From the LSU 5.

Mathieu was a game changing player. He did it multiple times. Haven't seen anyone like him since. This is not a knock on Delpit at all. We'll see how he does in the next couple of games. He is a great safety.

Call me crazy because of the size difference but Delpit actually reminds me of Chad Jones the most, the way he gets picks and lays the wood!

Delpit is a great player but he’s no honey badger yet.

Mathieu was one of the greatest college football players ever. He was a Heisman finalist. Delpit has a ways to go to reach HoneyBadger status.

Delpit is a better defensive player IMO. This is not a knock on Mathieu though. Mathieu was very very good, and made more huge plays out of nothing. Mostly TO's and Kick Returns. But Delpit is just a better defender. Mathieu could be picked on, and it was exposed in a certain game.

Delpit can be picked on as well in the slot. We all have weaknesses.

Honeybadger changed entire trajectory of games in 2011. Ark and UGA come to mind.

No doubt that Badger wins if he doesn’t get suspended. He was the best college football player that I’ve seen in only his true sophomore year.
