So, I just heard WAFB's interview with Hillar and he said inconclusive meant that the lab said either the DNA didn't match or was too mixed up to be able to get a match to the victims.
I am not a lawyer or prosecutor, and didn't sleep at a Holiday Inn Express last night, but how easy would it be to get a clean DNA sample off a pair of shoes that have just spent some period of time in a campus bar with all the gradoo on the floor? Lord knows, most bars have plenty of fluids, some human on their floors, especially at closing time, so I can imagine there is quite a mixture of that marinade on whatever shoes he was wearing. I'm not flaming, just scientific curiosity.
I said the other day that he couldn't complete 80% of his passes with the other team still in the locker room, so I kige your fix.

I will say that JL has played well within the offense, but I also argue that JJ can possibly play better than last year within the offense as well. And thatqb performance last year can't really be compared to performance this year because of the many changes in team dynamics that have occurred. I think the coaches will allow competition and the qb that gives us the best chance to win will play (tha may be both)
I like this.... at the end of the day, CLM will do whats best for the team... he has proven to be a great and fair coach.. I am willing to bet money that we wont see JJ imediately, he will have to compete and practice a bit first.... Personally, I see JL a much better field general, more composed, a better and more natural leader... and... anyone that doesnt see the O is running better, more smooth, and concise has no football IQ

Has Kige become a verb?

try the last 3 games of 2010 to the 1st 3 games of 2011
First of all, my point has been there is not enough data to make a statistical comparison to last year. Second, I only compared the two games because he insisted on some sort of stats. Third, I never made the argument the difference is only because of the QB.
Outside of that, comparing the last 3 games of last year to the first 3 games of this year is also flawed. As I've already mentioned in this thread, look at the points allowed to the opponent in the last three games of last year compared to the first three this year. Our philosophy is to not take any unnecessary risks on offense. In those 3 games last year the defense struggled, and we were forced to open the offense. So far this year we've been able to play conservative and haven't been forced to play keep up.

Kige had been a verb for years...

multiple turnovers or mistakes that lead to points for the other team or kill drives in the red zone, continuity killing timeouts, bad decisions in the passing game, no leadership from the position, etc. Stats don't tell the entire story, in a big game a QB can manage the game well and still have a low completion %

My question is this:
Regardless of the outcome, which direction does Miles go with JJ/Johns once the legal issues are resolved?
Kyle Anderson was dismissed from the team after being arrested, and arrested only. Miles did not wait until the legal process was resolved, to my knowledge.
I think Giddens was released after being arrested for battery, but also had been arrested for burglary prior.
Does he do the same with these two, or go another route?

It's a good question honestly.
But miles isn't kicking JJ off the team if he needs him, regardless of arrest.

this board can whine and cry for days but JJ is coming back and HE WILL PLAY MEANINGFUL MINUTES. if lm benches jj completely, then he will have another problem OF HISTORIC PROPORTION.
lm has had 5 weeks to figure this out, he will work it out TO THE SATISFACTION OF THE TEAM (JJ WILL PLAY) AND THE SATISFACTION OF "MOST" FANS, LSU WILL WIN.

Results of DNA taken from suspended quarterback Jordan Jefferson and suspended linebacker Joshua Johns are inconclusive, Moore added. There were no matches to the victims, he said.
so how is that inconclusive exactly?

Reason dictates that he would have dismissed them already if the arrest was the only necessary pretext. Perhaps he held off to preclude prejudicing the proceedings, but it's likely that he has genuine affinity for at least one of them.
Dismissals for a first time offense--especially a bar fight--are probably not in the cards.

He can sit the bench like lee sat the bench last year
Except this year the offense isn't struggling.

Maybe not with these two, but the was the case for Kyle Anderson.
I don't think he had previously been in trouble.
But his was expendable. Chase Pittman crushed someone at a bar and was not kicked off, if I recall correctly.

now that there is a racial slur, JJ will start and the other guy will go to jail for the slur. Now it all makes sense

Not nearly as much as JJ and his auntie have, I can assure you. And the pathetic thing about that is JJ has never once accepted any bit of responsibility over what happened.
Since day one of the incident, it was simply "I'm innocent and didn't do anything". Now it's "look at what they're doing to me, that's racist".
Since they are taking that angle, I lose all care and concern for him and really don't care if he never takes another snap much less get a degree from LSU.
As far as I'm concerned, he can go ahead and move back home to Norco and get a job as an operator at Shell.
