I appreciate your optimism on the WR group and certainly hope that is the case this year. However, there is absolutely no sane reason why that group should get anything higher than a solid B. Completely unproven group in terms of consistency. Ridiculously talented, but had too many problems last year to be an A

What about Evan Washington? Still on team?

I'm not the OP but in regards to the WRs.

The drops were cut down a great deal from bama on. In fact in the last four regular season games, bama, ole miss and arky had more drops than LSU. Tigers and state were even.

If Hill can somehow come back give the RB group an A without him a B just because of depth. OT and OG will both be very good. TE pretty accurate, and WR best group since the first rounders of Bowe and company

I'm sure this has been discussed numerous times already on here, but does anyone know if Cam favors using TE's in the passing game or not? I know Miles doesn't really use them all that often.

Backup LT or RT. Him and Hawkins will be the first at either position. Washington did really well in the spring game. Very big and extremely athletic for his size. I bet he's pretty motivated after missing out the last few years. If he does well this year he could start next year, his potential and pedigree could get him drafted fairly early.

Also we might see a rotation where Alexander ends up shifting to guard. He did well at RT, but he could be one of the best guards in football, college and pros. Though Hawkins and Washington are pound for pound some of the most athletic players ever at LSU

Doesn't matter how athletic they are if they can't pass block or know what their assignments are. The offensive line situation worries me. The Center position has diaster written all over it. Porter isn't an SEC caliber Center. Pocic is talented, but too young and too tall for Center. Williord is too tall as well, but there are no other options at this point. Miles hasn't recruited well at that position. What goes around, comes around.

Well the thing is. They can pass block and of course run block. They do know their assignments. Maybe you should know that before trying to be dumbass.

Why? Because you don't think he is. Because he had three bad snaps. Two of which looked like Mett's fault as well. The snap takes two people. Both are responsible. Outside of some bad plays he played well. We have two O line coaches and both have faith in him. I bet they know more than some armchair coach.

When the hell did you become some expert on football. Maybe you should give the players a real chance before talking shite

Will Landry play out wide and then when you guys go 3 wide move to the slot?

Dickson

I think he fits in best for Cameron because he is so versatile. I also think out of all the TE's last year he was best. Clement was a heck of a blocker though.

Is a right side player only. Miles has said this before.

Do you guys think Pocic stays at C long term or will he move to LT or RT eventually?

Yea, I don't see how anyone that watched all the drops last year can bring themselves give the receivers an A+

I give the wideouts a B but if mett can connect on the deep ball I will bump them to B+. If the young guys coming in make an impact, if Landry and OBJ (especially) can hail in the passes, and Dickson or someone steps up at TE I give them a A-.

If cope land can contribute catching out of the backfield and someone else (possibly Magee or brazil) pass catches good out of the backfield ill give them an A.

Very hard for any wr group to get an A+.

WR are ridiculously over ranked. That grade is on a massive curve. Unfortunately they are A in potential only...

I would give Mettenburg a C-. Everything else looks good.

are these grades based on how they played last season, how they did in the spring practices that you didn't watch, or how they haven't played yet this coming season?

If any position gets an A it is the o-line.
