That’s 5 guys. 4 different classes. No pitchers.

We discussed this. Frontline talent was decent. But every team is going to have a few studs.

You’re misunderstanding the point. And I’ve been nice even with your ignorant insults. This team does have talent boosted by Berry coming over with Jay. But that hasn’t been the case for some time. Think about the 6-9 hitters we’ve had in the past. Think about who we’ve had pitching on saturdays and even sundays. It’s not what it used to be.

We have dealt with injuries to pitchers and we have had Covid thrown into the mix.And you have to be nice cause you know you are wrong with your dumb takes.Just cause a coach loses his passion and you have a couple subpar seasons doesn’t mean your program isn’t a top program in the country. We will prolly make it to Omaha this year and a coach like Jay johnson will get the talent and develop the talent.LSU will be fine.I be willing to bet MS State who won the title didn’t have dominant hitters 6-9.Most teams have freshman towards back of their lineups hitting around .240 that they develop into better hitters. We had injuries last year and Milazzo isn’t the norm and we went an got a catcher in transfer portal.Give johnson 2 years and we will have some arms and be fine the sky isn’t always falling even if our fans always assume it is

Sigh. Everyone has. Not an excuse.

I didn’t realize we were the only team to deal with Covid.

Says the guy who thinks pitching injuries and Covid only affected LSU. You’re right and the smartest guy in the room. I’m being nice because I don’t really have to call you out. These quotes do the job plenty well.

Oof. You had 3 guys batting around 0.280, one of them with 10 HRs (4th on the team) and 63 RBIs (2nd on the team). Keep it up. This is fun.

I didn’t say LSU was only one to deal with injuries dipshit nor Covid.I said we was dealing with a coach who lost his passion all while dealing with that and he wasn’t developing players. We had 3 players with 7-8 homers at bottom of lineup and Arnold who batted .277. Milazzo was not the norm just like I stated which is why we brought in some catchers. The bottom of states lineup didn’t average .280 but nice lie to make yourself feel better.Hatcher played in 58 games and started 39 and batted .189
Forsythe started 58 games and batted .231,Kellum Clark batted .237 I could continue naming more their team hit .278 slugged .439 and hit 75 homers we hit .273 .461 slugging 93 homers now you add Berry an McManus in there. Difference is they had better pitching,if we develop pitchers which we stopped doing as of late under PM,we will be fine.Jay Johnson will have us performing well sooner rather than later

I think Paul's a decent enough guy, and he obviously loves LSU.

It was clearly time, and I'm glad he handled things on the way out like he did.

Excited for this new era of LSU baseball, and Paul left the cupboard fairly well stocked for a first year coach.

3 of the 4 players who started the last game of the year in the 6-9 spots hit between 262 and 281. The 262 hitter was the one with 10 HRs and 63 RBIs. Yep. You’ve caught me in some lie. That 2% certainly ruins my point and he’s a terrible hitter.

Hancock started all year for them. And the 7-9 holes they rotated guys in an out and the ones with the most games played an started and who started in the World Series batted .230s.Their team as a whole wasn’t any better than us.Pitching is what we lacked an they had it,that’s why they won.You act like we are bottom of the barrel and somehow won’t get talent to win or we are so far off from winning. We need 4-5 guys with live arms who can get outs We will be fine

I didn’t say they had shite hitters I said they had some average hitters just like most people do at bottom of the lineup. We hit as team just as good as them what more proof do you need clown. You are the one who thinks we suck, don’t have talent, and so far below other teams that we aren’t even a top 5 program in the SEC.You are a clown show period

Some average hitters in the lineup is not the same as singling one hitter out of a lineup.I never said Hancock was average. Our 6 hole hitter batted .277 with 7 homers and was told to transfer cause he wouldn’t play this year.Have a good day clown

Don’t tell me what kind of day to have. That’s rude and presumptuous.

Paul might still have a stiff neck but no man tonight will have a stiff dick. Cold as ice at the box.

You must be one of his ex-players. I think he hurt a bunch of kids, including those you wouldn't expect. He didn't care about anything but himself. He was just like his dad. And, that wasn't good. I'm looking forward to him being gone. I'm actually excited about baseball again.

All honesty,

I did appreciate that Mainieri had our baseball team looking professional. No stupid beards, silly mustaches, no wearing sideways cocked hats.

He had us looking like the NY Yankees, a professional ball club.

Thanks for that, coach.
