Got to get this off my chest - How to compete with Bama

Have not read a post or article since 20 minutes before kickoff last night so maybe this was already covered. Here it goes.
Until we have four and five star tackles who can pass protect we don't have a shot. Until the overall talent level on the OL is raised we will always be two steps behind them. We thoroughly beat UGA but got manhandled by Bama. Why? Match ups mano vs mano. We can't succeed vs. Bama or a really good pass rushing line like UFs.
UGA we just matched up better against. Until we win the individual match ups and recruit the athletes who can do it we won't beat Bama as far as our OL vs the DL. UGA has a better shot vs. Bama than anyone. One of the reasons why is because although they are young they have five and four star tackles and guards who give Fromm a chance to stand upright in the pocket.
DL - need more pass rushing DE's. Buggs and Matthis would have been nice but that would have required us to risk serious recruiting violations - something at the time our Cajun Mafia and the program was not willing to risk which leads to....
Bo Bahnsen - convinced the MF'er has blackmail on LSU as an institution. Deal with him! I mean by any means necessary and leave it at that! Revamp compliance dept. from top to bottom.
Going back to DL Bo and recruiting...If we are going to be in the SEC (and for that matter when it comes to any other conference) we we must demand fair treatment. If UGA and Bama are allowed to give out cars and under the table thousand dollar handshakes by GOD we need to as well. If they play by special rules why not LSU? Fight for our right to join the party!!

NO ONE WILL EVER MATCH BAMA’s TALENT. PERIOD.
You have to get as much talent as you can and then beat them with scheme. It is the only shot.

Well, UGA and The Ohio State get close especially UGA. One notch below in talent but within firing distance and along with a good scheme can work.

I agree our OL looked pussyfied last night vs Bama.
Also, we need to stop having big slow run gappers like Fehoko playing DE. His body type is 4-3 DT when we need true 3-4 DL that can penetrate, but agile enough to set the edge.
The entire OL&DL needs a makeover. The entire team building process needs a makeover. Stop trying to claim DBU and start becoming OLU or DLU is the only way we will see the playoffs while Saban is still a coach.

A fellow Tiger over here in the ATL and I were talking over the summer. His theory - Bo is a paid minion of the REC and is double secret agent for Saban and them. That and there is at least one mole in the AD office leaking 411 to the evil empire. One got fired back in the day for something unrelated and they were replaced with another one. He is convinced 1/9/12 was partially an inside job. Just saying....

You have to play with reckless abandon and know that you have to outscore them. Utah, Ole Miss, TAMU, Clemson, etc... the only team that remotely matched their talent was Clemson. All went into the game knowing that they needed to score points. All knew they needed to get the ball downfield and take a shot or two. You don’t beat Bama with a “hat on a hat” mentality. You beat Bama by outscheming them on the backend of their defense.

Weren’t you one of the guys saying the other day that if we thought LSU wouldn’t win that we were sucky fans and needed to leave the fan base? Now you’re saying we dot have a shot unless we recruit better and put out hits on guys?

I totally agree. I direct much of this at Tommy Moffitt. Look, Kirby blew it against LSU. We are a pretty good team but we have no chance against the top tier teams!!! It starts at the beginning with TM. We aren't as physical, athletic, or as strong as the elite teams period. It was on full display last nnight.This is probably why Les ran the offense that he did. Pass blocking moving laterally is out of the question with this group. Joe had no chance as well as this offense. Don't blame the skill players, it goes much deeper than that. This is why player development is nearly non existent at LSU.

Until we hire an actual coordinator and not a 70 year old TE coach who doesn’t want the job is what the ducking problem is
