I would guess it is a somewhat informed opinion. It isn't like he's just some random guy on the radio.

Yes, way more than the rant does, he knows what he is talking about.

And his "name" is multi-generational in his family, been around for a long time. But, thanks for your input Mr. Carlin.

Because the game is opened by Lone Star productions & ESPN. They will want the game to remain a neutral site game.

His assumption there was that neither school would want to play a road game.

I would say I'm confident in the Superdome but its tough to see it there with all the rain headed that way and the pump issues.
We'll know by noon Wednesday if the Superdome is going to happen.

Baton Rouge would be the best option to get this game played and make a sure decision in a timely manner. (I'm a little biased.)

Will not happen. For multiple reasons.

Gordy is about as inside as you can get. If he says it, then I would take it to the bank that Alleva or someone close to Alleva told him.

I agree. I feel like without the incoming weather, a decision on the Superdome would have been made by now. The decision is pending on the weather. I think we will know by tomorrow at noon.

He didn't say GT was a possibility. He just said it's a stadium without a game. And the storm is in Memphis this weekend, not Nashville.

Southern decadence is in Nola this weekend. That could play a factor in the decision.

I think its going to be new Orleans. I think Tiger Stadium would be the best choice. Its not like LSU caused Houston to flood. Its probably not fair but then again life is not fair.

superdome officials have said hotels aren't going to be an issue. only thinking stopping nola at this point is concerns of heavy rains coming.

So New Orleans is projecting 8 inches over the next week but you think the city can't handle that?

Yes, you are biased. It is a hell of a lot better idea than tiger stadium.
