Still can’t believe last night happened, holy shite 
- our SUFFOCATING defense

Seriously though, I’ve been saying all along it isn’t even about this season.
We probably won’t go undefeated. We maybe won’t even make the playoffs.
We are still a completely renovated roster that will hit some bumps in the road against much better teams than fricking Clemson.
But it’s not about 2026. The bottom line is we now have a coach in charge that will ALWAYS have the team prepared, will ALWAYS have a fricking ruthless game plan ready to dissect whoever we are playing, who will put everything he has on the field and off recruiting into making this program the best in the country, and who will NEVER be boring or predictable.
None of that guarantees a win every week or a playoff every year, but it’s all a reasonable fan can hope for their team.
We got the fricking one, and it is going to be a glorious era for LSU football.

The team looked amazing for a first game with all of the drama of the past week going into it. I just pray that everyone stays healthy and we somehow retain this coaching staff for years to come. Baker’s defense was suffocating Clemson all night.
