My client has expressed ZERO interest in the position at Texas, citing great respect for Charlie Strong and the job he has done and where the program is headed. Also spoke of deep admiration for coaches Brian Kelly and Clay Helton. Having lunch at podnuh's before an afternoon squirrel hunt.

Will he suddenly lose the ability to make in game adjustments or hold assistants accountable? How do you define "building a program"? What does him coaching a bunch of sunbelt kids against sunbelt coaches really show you, that beating Freeze, Saban, and Sumlin wouldn't? If he navigates this stretch of games with one loss or less then it's just sheer Texas level arrogance to think you're gonna find someone who can do better.
