Go on defense first if we win the toss at Arky?

This has to happen, right?

After the defense went from 0 to 60 against Ole Miss, we gotta try to get a momentum-gaining stop to start this game. Am I retarded for thinking this?

I would go either offense or defense, one of those, but I'm not the coach.

As much I as I hate getting the ball first and it annoys the hell out of me, Blake Baker has made so many good adjustments in the second half of games holding teams that it hasn't made to much of a difference.

And I do like the thought of being up 7-0 right away on the road. But again, I hate the fact that I am justifying Kelly doing it.

what if we don't stop them, and Arky scores first and grabs massive momentum?

Better to put our best unit on the field first. Best chance to take control of the game early.

That's our offense.

I see your point, but when has LSU accomplished that this year? It could also be argued that our defense is the best unit currently after last week

Only a fool would argue that. The offense, Nuss in particular had an off night up until the last drive of regulation. Yes the defense played great, but let’s see it for a few weeks in a row before we declare they are the better unit.

Actually, either way, it's special teams first.
