Actually that is not correct at all. If we lose to UNC twice today than we shouldn't have been talking about Omaha. But having the competitive advantage taken away is a very legitimate comment. Those advantages are set up not only from the hard work the team has put in from the entire season "being able to be the host" but from putting in the hard work at the regional by being undefeated so far. Having that competitive advantage "remember it is earned not given" is a big deal and if the game could have been played it ABSOLUTELY should have. It is irrelevant as to which team had the advantage no matter who it helped it should have been played if it could have for the simple fact that it is the right thing to do and what was planned. Even the UNC-W coach stated it was a big help to his team and he is glad it was postponed but he was ready to play if they said good to go.
Did LSU get screwed a little? Absolutely!!! But I don't think it was done deliberately. Does it suck for LSU? A little but let's go beat them today and prove who LSU baseball is!!!
