Glenn Dorsey is... A great LSU player who loves La and LSU. He laid it on the line for my Alma Mater. I really don't appreciate anyone bashing him on an LSU board. Go to a KC Chief board with that crap!

Thank you!

I would have to agree with most LSU fans on the subject of the chain as stated by someone else the fact that you would wear a louisiana shaped chain to represent where your from is not the same as wearing a elephant head that says bama boy. that is the symbol of one of the biggest rivals LSU has not the state in which he is from. That is why LSU fans were pissed. Had he worn a chain that said bama boy with the state as the logo it would not have had the same response. On top of it all he did it while standing on the sidelines during the National Championship game along with not wearing purple and gold. Other high profile atheletes supporting former teammates or there alma mater would normally wear at least the school colors.

Dorsey was a much higher pick and makes much more money than those guys. Glenn should have reported in shape. He was such a leader at LSU, that this is not his MO. He can make it right moving forward, but I'd be concerned if I were the Cheifs after his rookie season.

For those of you saying he's pissed because he's in a 3-4 instead of a 4-3.........just fricking stop. He plays football. His job is Defensive Lineman. You read that article by a pencil neck writer last year and now you're running with it.

he's one of the chosen few who LSU fans say are above criticism

the point of this thread was asking why JR doesn't get the same consideration

the hell?

dorsey went from a system he fit (and sucked in last year) to a system he doesn't fit

dorsey has no place on a 3-4 DL. he's not thick or strong enough for NT. he's not tall enough for DE (hell he may be too small/weak for 3-4 DE)

Laron Landry

Sucked last year and this offseason wouldn't come to OTAs. He was only good his rookie year when he had Sean Taylor lining up with him. Put him out there with Horton and Chris steals the show why LaRon gets rocked by Brandon Jacobs.

Oh yea and Landry has the gayest lip piercing ever.

I love the posters who come to this thread so quickly to make excuses for Glenn, which is fine, and probably warranted, but no one did that type of thing when the news about Russell came out, and those that did give an excuse were ridiculed.

So we're supposed to forgive JR showing up on our sidelines without P&G or anything LSU while wearing a bama logo, because he was just promoting himself and his business?

And that's not offensive?

frick JR. And Dorsey needs to man up and stop being lazy. He's got a job to do. I don't expect that from JR. I do expect it from Dorsey. Because Dorsey has class.

I know its a hard pill to swallow, but just act for a second like a mature adult and think about the success JR brought to the university, the same amount as Dorsey probably. How do you know Dorsey has more class than JR? Just curious.

I don't know why some of you can't understand why emotional leaders are so loved...fans feel that these players are just as passionate about LSU as they are, and thus feel a special connection with them. On the field accomplishments fade quickly, and memories are much more emotional than analytical. It's probably not fair, but that's the way the human spirit tends to work.

I thought it was his cousin's record label...anyway, most fans would tell you that anyone that cares anything about LSU would not show on the sidelines of the Nat Champ game wearing a replica of Big Al with Bama Boy on it.

Jesus you don't have to be a little bitch about it. All I meant was that it's completely different from wearing a necklace in the shape of Louisiana.

An elephant necklace is no different than a pelican necklace worn by a Louisiana boy. There both state birds. In bammer, it's also the state insect, state flower, animal, etc etc.
