What a novel idea, allowing a man who has given you years of service to preserve his dignity and leave under his own terms. Other businesses could take a lesson

Probably due to his health, I believe he was diagnosed with Parkinson's some time last year.

I doubt McMahon is getting fired. Verge just said lsu is in the red for 25 to 30 million dollars. There was no booster to the rescue and lsu will have to pay 400,000 per month to pay Kelly. So what he’s saying is true, lsu can’t afford to fire McMahon.

I don’t know anything about this situation but I grew up with Glenn and he is a legitimate American success story. He has worked hard to achieve what he has, and he absolutely started with nothing. If he is having health issues, my thoughts and prayers are with him and his family.

Thoughts and prayers to him.

But objectively speaking, Landry will probably replace this personal injury lawyer with another one. It's amazing how many there are in Louisiana who have made millions and been able to achieve such influence with our legislature and governors. I doubt any other state has this phenomenon to this degree.

Agreed

Just seems odd if he has health issues that he wants to be doing law full time

Thank you for your service

Landry still in the kitchen cookin up?

100%

But having 1 less lawyer on the BOS is a good thing in my book. Hopefully Landry replaces him with a competent, qualified, grounded individual that isn’t a trial attorney.

Nah. From what I have heard, Glenn is not in the best of health these days.

That sucks.

But he wants to practice law full time?

Don't know about Armentor, but LSUBOS President Mallet is a big WW supporter, as is LSU President Rousse!

That is verbiage to back out of the BOS without publicly saying he has health issues. What he is trying to do, I think, is situate his practice to keep running when he steps away, so his partners can keep the name and move forward without stumbling and slowly progress to a new name (I have seen that before).

He is an ambulance chaser, but from the people I know who have worked for him, he is also an excellent employer. I have been told, and seen at least one example of this with a friend, that he has a sense of responsibility towards the people and things he decides to involve himself with. So I suspect he feels that whatever the BOS time commitment is, he will not be up to the task.
