Why do you guys jump to really weird conclusions? Who cares about what people think? I'm talking about his success levels.
We're talking about being a successful hire, an awesome LSU head coach, having "great" seasons.
The only way to do those things is to win consistently, win against the best, and to bring home hardware. If not that, what the heck is the point? He hasn't proven ANY of that yet. And if having a top level program isn't important, then what are we talking about this for?

If you want you can pump that inexcusable loss we had to Florida too although that doesn’t really help your argument at all it just seems to be how you operate in a debate

Based on my opinion that Jimbo is a far suprier coach, and would have recruited at a high level, and done more with the talent we have.
Man I like jimbo but don’t think he’s a miracle worker. He ran FSU into the ground. And even this year has a lot of Srs in defense & talent on offense and did just ok.

To compete with Alabama, it takes a couple years not only to fill talent gaps, but to build depth.
You know who said that? Lincoln Riley
I think we will probably have enough front line talent next year to be competitive with Bama but I'm not expecting to win yet

So, it is your opinion that Orgeron is a better head coach than Jimbo?
Remains to be seen.

Had the same record as Auburn, and beat them head to head
Sumlin was fired in 2017

You can say that if you're Vanderbilt or Rutgers. You can't if you're LSU. We're close enough in talent that we should be able to find ways to at the very least, score. Other teams do.

Coach speak, but sure.

So O gets two more years to win maybe 10 games? This team will have serious problems when Aranda gets a better offer - NFL or head coach. We don't have time to tread water.

The bottom line is O has rebuilt a team that was on a downward trajectory, but it isn’t Les who put it in that shape, it was Alleva and the boneheaded way the transition was handled in the first place
Even if we handed O the keys to the car at the end of 2015 instead of Jimbo, we would be in much better shape right now than we actually are in. The shite show soap opera we created scared off the depth from the team and put us from loaded contender that just needs to get over the hump, to pseudo-rebuild
The insecure O pumpers want to blame Les for it because they like O as a personality and don’t want to see him run off, so Les becomes the scapegoat. That and some people on the Rant have an irrational hatred for the man. Maybe he kicked their puppy when they were children, I don’t know.

Well Fisher averaging 4 losses over the past 4 years and only improved over his predecessor by one game, a miracle over LSU sure has gotten him a lot of respect from people who thinks 3 losses isn't good for LSU.

Our first recruiting class(2017) after Les was let go was, what, #7? And almost the entire class committed before Les was let go. So it doesn’t seem like it scared many off...

And he did that in the ACC...5-6 last year lol

The idiocy that is the rant..
This is Orgerons team. Yes, there's some holes to fill but no one should blame Les
And the childish "O pumper" nonsense is just as retarded. You people think anyone with a positive outlook is some O pumper.

And the other side thinks that anyone who wants O held to the same standards and doesn't run around the streets for this season isn't a true fan or is a "negatiger."
It cuts both ways.

Right
Fishers combined last 4 year record is the definition of mediocrity (while recruiting at a high level) and I'll never understand the praise he gets for it.

I disagree with this.................... But at the same time EVERY team even with an experienced coach has this problem...............

You denying Jimbos trajectory is down?
Yeah the end of his tenure at FSU sucked and showed a decline. But he's at a different program and he's showing already marked improvements there to that specific program. Even if he's on the decline from what he once was, there's nothing to date to say Orgeron is a better coach. Again, that doesn't mean O can't get us back to the top.

other than 2013, the 3 single season highest passing yards per game in the last 10 years occurred under Orgeron pal
