Well written article, but your knighting for Miles at certain points drops your unbiased credibility to zero. Also, what type of fan are you trying to reach? It certainly isn't the unbiased portion of the fanbase. Keep pumping your pro-Miles' sunshine up the asses of whoever will listen though. One of the best coaches in the nation? Disciplinarian because he kicked RP off after the 73rd offense?

Is Miles your final editor?

The op feels that he knows best for LSU football and its fans and only slightly touched on it in a glancing way.

To the OPS point Be careful what you wish for because you may actually get it. The firing of MIles. I believe we all understand that and are willing to risk it. (Most of us anyway) We've seen enough. We choose to try to be good rather than LUCKY.

LSU is not the same as it once was. LSU has its recruiting advantages as displayed by $abun and MIles. Top notch coaches will want to come here. IT IS A PREMIER HC JOB

While I think CW is a football idiot(says alot about those bowing to him too), I don't think Miles should be fired this year.

I think Miles is the worst game manger in all of football, he has proven himself to be, but he is more than likely going 8-4, maybe better and LSU can't afford to fire him if he does. I think other coaches who might consider coming to LSU would be wary given Miles overall record here.

Not to mention the costs of firing Miles.

Do you know anything about football? Seems to me you're more of a Miles fan than an LSU fan.

Please refrain from posting anymore of your Miles "suck off" fests, they are not appreciated. Stupidity has name, and that name is Chris Warner.

Also Chrissy boy, what do you think of a Coach throwing his players under the bus, and not accepting responsibility for his actions? I mean, he is the Head Coach.

I love how people think what happened to nebraska, miami, and notre dame (as was pointed out earlier in the thread) could not happen at LSU. why would we be immune to that? built in recruiting you say? those 3 have it as well. they are also still more of a premier HC gig than LSU.

Lester Earl I have to disagree with one point. Warner is not a "great author"

How the hell does Nebraska and notre dame have built in recruiting? Do they reside in states that produce the kind of players LA does? Hell no, they require national recruiting to compete, totally different ballgame.

And you idiots keep bringing up coker and UM, do you realize you are making peoples points for them? Miles is doing to us exactly what coker did to UM. He is recruiting for stars and not addressing needs just like coker, granted not nearly as much but still doing it with the most important position on the field. It will end the same way and lsu will be trying to dig itself put of a hole just like UM. And lsu has so many advantages over um its not even funny. Um has terrible facilities and pretty much just has location and former players going for it.

I dunno if les should be fired this year but he will not get a big time oc. Not saying he won't get a good one just not big time at the time of the hire. If he doesn't get the juco kid from GA then our program is gonna hurt for a while unless he can get a true freshman phenom to come.

I do know one thing though, LSU deserves better for the money they are spending. Simple as that.

Come the frick on. ON gameday Warner probably goes early to tailgate, enjoys all the food. Once he enters the stadium he prob sits there and whacks off to the band and the Tiger girls, without even watching the game. And if we lose, he says "Aweww shucks, we'll just get them next time. I heard Les Miles has a national championship and recruits well, so everything will be OK!!!"(meanwhile we rack up 5 losses a year and our offense looks like it is ran by retards). Totally oblivious to any problems that might be going on.

I love LSU football too. I just want us to keep winning. There are too many hints over the last 3 years that prove Les Miles is in over his head. If you can't see them, then you never will.
