That's bullshite that the #1 team gets the last time slot. It means less rest for our pitchers.

I'm actually fine with this. It gives McMullen one extra day to recuperate. He didn't look 100% at all with that hamstring on Saturday.

the "#1 team" is the winner of UNC and SC, and they are the exact reason for the change to sunday

Just with them getting there Thursday, they have the banquet or whatever for the teams to do , etc. Thursday, Friday, Saturday, & all day Sunday practices at some high school and sitting and waiting to play for 4 days.

People who booked hotels and stuff around seeing their team play certain nights, i'd say it matters.

I'm surprised they called the game as early as they did. Couldn't have been TV related? Or was the weather really that bad?

I was wondering the same thing earlier this afternoon. Seems pretty ridiculous to cancel a game you supposedly really want to be played that early in the day.
