We're gonna get our crack at the undisputed #1 team in the land, Georgia. I want another crack at Tennessee.
Other teams of interest for a bowl game would be:
Ohio St (obviously a potential playoff matchup)
Michigan (also obviously a playoff matchup)
USC (Kelly v Lincoln)
Kansas St (actually a tough matchup but screw them)
Clemson (big name, destroyable)
Notre Dame (you know the story line, also destroyable)
UCLA (tough matchup but payback)
FSU (payback, destroybale)

If you make no assumptions on each team's finish, nearly anything is possible.
Also, those are my teams of interest, assumptions or not, possible or impossible.

Do you not understand bowl tie-ins?
USC will go to the Rose bowl vs Big Ten or Alamo Bowl vs Big 12.
The only PAC-12 vs SEC bowl is Las Vegas Bowl & LSU will get a much better bowl than that.
Ok… we play them to start the season in ‘24.

Drop it, Joe. LSU won the Nokia Sugar Bowl and the BCS National Championship that year. As far as I remember USC was irrelevant regardless of their final record and ranking.

If Tigers lose to Georgia that will be 3 losses, and likely would be playing a team like 3 loss Notre Dame which I would love to see. It makes my day anytime ND loses. Or one of the 1 loss Carolina teams. I think Michigan would be ideal, but they would probably be Rose Bowl bound, or has that tradition been absolved due to the Playoff structure?
Not sure we will all be clear on the future bowl arrangements until the 2024 season at best. With all the teams changing conferences and a 12 playoff in the near future, it will be a totally new bowl environment in 2-3 years. It will seem really awkward at first.
