I think people are missing the point that we should have already had the right OC.

no shite

that major error was made almost 2 years ago now when they hired Canada

O's primary job succeeding miles was to fix the offense and it's been a bigger shitshow since he took over

E doesn't have a fricking scheme, he has a random collection of plays that he calls when he feels like it.

There is no rhythm to this offense and he misuses players left and right (see Brossette running zone read, outside runs).

E’s offense sucks.

It’s the offense he ran as a QB at LSU under Charlie Mac minus the option plays.

In short, an offense that’s about 35-40 years out of date.

Well duh.

That’s the 2019 excuse.

2020 will be new QB.

2021 will be solar flares.

2022 Rosy Finch infertility.

Etc

So you’d rather another year in a scheme that clearly doesn’t work than a new scheme that might actually improve the offense.

A second point, this is football not nuclear physics. It’s not that hard for these guys to learn a new scheme.

I don't blame O for going back to Ensminger, since the 2016 offense worked out well.

You mean the 2016 that scored a total of 10 points in the only two games vs teams that played any semblance of defense?

That's what people don't fricking realize.

A lot of these modern offenses are designed to be learned in a limited amount of time.

Why are we trying to teach pro offenses to guys that don't have that time to learn it? It's insanity.

There is no difference between O and the 2016 incarnation of les miles. Biggest waste of a buyout ever.

How many other teams have you watched where the offense was crisp, perfect, and fantastic the first year around?

It takes more than a few months to learn a new offense

The eternal Rant answer for a decade...

Alabama did it.

well, the good thing about the leach air raid offenses are they're simple to implement/teach
its legit plug and play. he doesnt have random 3 stars throwing for 5,000 yards a year and then going undrafted by chance.

I agree.

And even if we get a new OC, O will meddle and the offense will look the same.

it's also the same reason why so many of his progeny of coaches can go anywhere in the country and install the system

Bama flipped the switch to a spread option and then more air raid spread over 3 years. 2 complete overhauls
