They’re going to do the chant anyway, so they might as well just let the band play Neck and do it once a game during a TV timeout so the students won’t add the STTDB chant to 5 other songs throughout the game

Probably not the school to pick for what you are referencing. The Stanford band has been banned from stadiums due to "offensive" behavior. For instance, the drum major at a performance in the Notre Dame game used a crucifix rather than a baton (or whatever the hell it is they use)..

It's not the coaches that hate it or anyone in the stadium other than ABC executives.
The reason the song is drowned out by crap rap has everything to do with TV and the power of ABC and nothing really to do with anyone who is part of the LSU program.

Will NOT happen. LSU is on the cusp of being THE STAR of MSM Sports. That publicity is worth a ton of legitimate NIL $$$. The kids can play but Management cannot publicly get on board. They won’t blow our chance for a dynasty.

They pretty much turn every song into a lead in for STTDB anyway now - so compelled are they to scream it publicly, so may as well play it.
