Their baseline offense and overall attack was better. LSU has more talent.

LSU has zero baseline scheme- it’s just a pick up game - but that’s the style of play these days I’m told.

We missed four alley oops and Naz threw away three passes to the low post- there is no low post or baseline game.

Saying that I can’t wait to see us lay Tennessee

Give the team time before you say better coaches. These are freshman and senior transfers none have been in the system long. Every game wade seems to improve on something. He cant skip the basics and need for hustle and start drawing up plays. He is working in what he visualizes is going to work for this team....

I do not believe wade is a bad coach or coasts on talent he coaches a style that is working. And that young players want to be apart of.

So when Taylor cuts to the goal from the backside along the BASELINE to catch lobs...... what’s that called?

P.s. if you think he just is doing it for the heck of it you are wrong

Maybe. Creen is a good coach with far more experience than will wade. LSU was very bad on defense last night. We are not trying to play a baseline game. This is a high pick with dribble penetration and movement. Like many teams and like the NBA. 65% of possessions the offense is run off of a high pick. UGA did run a zone a good bit.

We have more talent in our 8 or 9 man rotation than Tennessee. They have far more experience. Schofield and Williams better than our players. We play them at Tennessee. Hard to win. Vandy took them to,the limit. In Nashville

I bet if I gave you a million dollars, you’d complain because it’s not two million.

Lol ok. Do you realize that Will Wade is one of the more respected tacticians in college basketball?

Not on this board, mind you, but in coaching circles.

I would put it this way, it sure looked that way last night.

But I've seen some other games Georgia has played and some other games we've played and on some of those nights I would tell you just the opposite.

Anyone questioning Will Wade as a coach has no credibility. Period.

We will score. That’s not the problem. We need to learn how to defend those backdoor cuts.

Agree.

Disagree. Modern college hoops doesn’t allow for much of this “wait” process. Some of these young guys careers at LSU are about to wrap up so to speak. Blink and it’s done. Just the nature of the game. Wade has done a good job of fast tracking their development as much as possible. The overall team looks much better and cohesive than early on. The scheduling decisions are paying off. We’ll make a run- not sure how deep- but I like where we are now. We have given ourselves a chance to do something great this season- we still have some things to learn- but I like our chances. LSU hoops is fun again.

I think that coach Wade addressed the problems in the game in his interview, but I guess the other coach is always better.

Here’s the thing. Waters is a special player and he has a lot of freedom in the way he runs the point. Due to this, it minimizes the system Wade runs because Waters ability to facilitate offsets whatever shots the system would facilitate

Georgia has a good team, they will pull some upsets going forward. That said, defense was pretty bad in the second half, esp in the paint..
