do we have the worst fans in the country? even in a blowout win, as the underdog, we find something to complain about. jesus.

Yes we do! The majority like to listen to themselves talk.

but he'd NEVER call a fake punt inside his own 30.

I remember him running one against Arizona St. in his first ever game as a Tiger.

That was an audible that Chris Jackson could call if the gunner wasn't being blocked.

Ball control, ball control, ball control. It's that simple.

We only scored 38 points and 300 yards in the game, period. We weren't scoring at will. The fake punt was therefore not an attempt to run up the score, nor was it "classless."

Running up the score is passing for the endzone in the 4th if we had 50-60 points on offense. We still had something to prove to ourselves, the offense only had 300 yards in the game and we wanted to keep the ball in their hands.

It's a bowl game guys,Miles couldn't try the fake punt since we lost the last 4 games. The players were probably calling for it to have fun, they were up HUGE so what.

The Tigers dominated Georgia Tech all night and were having some fun after a dismal ending to the season.A quote by Kellen Winslow modified by me will do us good right now
quote:

Yeah, I don't give a hell. It's about LSU, man. I don't give a flyin' you-know-what about a Yellow Jacket. I don't give a damn! He would do the same thing to me

Who cares about GT or Johnson? We wont see them again for another 20 years. By then Les and Johnson will be hx.
Football is about playing to win! Playing to win is all about ball control.

Didn't Georgia Tech score 222 points in a game vs a team with only 14 players on the entire squad ?

"The 1916 Cumberland vs. Georgia Tech football game was a college football game played on October 7, 1916 between the Georgia Tech Engineers and the Cumberland College Bulldogs. The game became the most lopsided game in the history of college football, as Georgia Tech was victorious 222–0."

Football is a game of history. Every opposing coach knows that Miles may pull an onside kick or a fake punt when you least expect it. Each one has a different characteristic. The fake field goal last year was perfect.

What happens for next season is that defenses and their coaches have to prepare for a variety of fakes and onside kicks. That takes time and causes concern. More to prepare helps LSU.

Bowl games are watched by opposing coaches. Every SEC coach will if they have not study the various onside kicks and fake punts and kicks LSU has done.

The tendencies are that Miles does it when you do not expect it. Miles knows this and it was brilliant.

LOL. The same people saying this are the same ones who hate Meyer, Ole Ball Coach, Stoops, and Carroll for running up the score on opponents. But because LSU does it, its ok.

then

I am not really mad about the fake punt although it was classless. I am mad at the 3 points we scored in the second half. No reason why we shouldnt have scored more. We had a fumble recovery in the red zone and a fake punt that put us on the 30. How didnt we score more?

Contradict yourself much? Quit whining, and if you can't, at least make up your mind, genius.
