Gary going off. Now he's talking about how "attrition counts" He's totally right. Part of winning the conference is having to deal with the injuries that come your way and playing the full 8 games.

Makes you wonder if CBS put him up to it. I mean damn, that was basically a hatchet job on national television.

Sankey probably thought he was going to come on, control and advance the narrative. I think he lost control of the narrative. He sure as hell didn't advance it. Gary bringing up player safety and forcing LSU to play three games in twelve days, that was a dagger. That has to be off the table now. That little interview backfired in a huge way.

I think Gary knows exactly what is happening at UForfeit. He even made the injury comment saying, "thats a part of the season and playing"...clearly targeted at UForfeit.

Not always a fan of Gary, but I was impressed with him today. He framed the narrative around player safety. He basically boxed Sankey in over the safety issue - don't spout a tale about the safety of players in Florida and then put LSU players at risk. Sankey is in a Catch-22 now.

I got that sense too, wasn't sure if I was imagining it.

Danielson zigged-zagged about the best he could do to match him.

I was waiting for the spectacular but rarely heard "chortle fit" from Verne when the PC bullshite spewing from Sankey locked his frontal lobe up.
