They called ZERO penalties on UKs offense the entire game.

And plain as day, they moved at the goal line and were given a timeout instead.

It was a combo of poor play and reckless play (the Leavitt turnovers; the last play of the game; the horrific run blocking) and the inept refereeing and whatever was going on in that replay office in Birmingham.

Agreed.

Honestly just expand the 2 challenges afforded per game to include penalty review rather than just ruling review.

Doesn’t change the flow of game but allows coaches recourse in big games here.

I think our point is that a team should be able to win a sloppy game. LSU played a sloppy game. They had opportunities to put it away but didnt. Yes that's on them.

But the refs decided this game. Its not even a debate. They were gifted 14 points that shouldn't have been on that scoreboard.

They literally suplexd Sam after the whistle was blown. The ref watched the entire thing happen and just stared at Sam on the ground. It was when the teams almost got into a fight. That's why they were about to fight. That happened. It was real. Im kinda sure LSU ended up having to punt that drive.

This is after Kentucky was gifted 15 yards for one of LSU players barely brushing his arm against Mincheys face mask. Was so light his head didnt even move.

“Didn’t cost us game”. This is a simple one. Take the 7 points for the punt return off the board and we win in regulation. There was a blatant block in the back instead of TD they start around their own 30

I've seen them give timeouts to coaches when they are in an illegal formation or before the game clock expires, but I've never seen a coach awarded a timeout to negate a false start form a set player. Absolutely wild. If they call that a false start, Kentucky has to kick the PAT and we go to 2OT with the ball second. That was a massive officiating "error" that possibly change the outcome of the game.

This should be put front and center for every CFP board member a the end of the year

No one will say a word about it lol.

The two god awful announcers we had last night sure as frick didn’t.

We are persona non grata for this year and likely for the foreseeable future. Going to have to leave no doubt in every game because we aren’t ever getting the benefit of any doubt.

All of this. A timeout CAN prevent an illegal formation because it doesn’t become a foul until the ball is snapped. A false start on the other hand is by definition a pre-snap foul so you can’t negate it with a TO after the fact.
