My weather app (WeatherBug) shows that tonight is going to be perfect weather, and that there is 25-40% chance of rain for 11-3…

Selfishly, I’m pissed bc we were heading over tonight but can’t make noon.

Point of the thread though is to ask, is my weather app shite?

Yes. 12-4 is the lightest of the afternoon/evening. You might be on the wrong city lol

Pick the app you like - WBRZ Weather app has 80% chance of Thunderstorms at 6 & 7 pm. I find the local weather stations are usually a little more accurate. But that’s still not sayin much.

It may be a good thing to start at noon no matter what the weather app is saying. Weather is too unpredictable. Starting at noon gives you a chance to use all afternoon and evening to complete a game with a few rain delays if necessary. LSU has to use every opportunity to complete all 3 games for a sweep.

Because LSU can’t afford to not play any games this weekend.

They need to find a window long enough for Holman to get a full outing. That probably requires a 3 and a half hour window for warmups and 6-7 innings. After Holman goes, rain delays won't frick us nearly as badly.

Because starting at noon gives you 8 hours to get the game in in any open windows rather before the thunderstorms roll

Not sure what app you're looking at but on the few I have shows you're wrong.

Selfishly I'd like this game to happen now so I can have the rest of the day to do things.

CJJ doesn’t like night games. Day games are better for the pitchers’ arms. Analytics or something

OR....... The day game gives you a better chance of not starting Holman and him have to be yanked after 2 innings because of a 2 hour rain delay. Common sense or something.

Those weather services use data projected well in advance and don’t make many updates. Local weather app >> any national app.

Local has a live thermometer with an accurate temp reading at all times.

As far as the game, our next storm is in Texas now, you can see it coming.

Time changes are part of the deal but when a game is moved to the middle of a work day with almost no notice, it feels like stealing. Can't go to the game and no time to resale nor a market for it. They should refund tickets when making a late change to a mid work day like this.

LSU has to sweep. LSU has to figure out how to piece the best relievers on Saturday. Take no chances of long rain delays and using up pitching before Saturday.
