Poche is not awful. He relies on location and is hitting his spots.. He isn't getting the calls and they are taking advantage of the extra opportunities. I still prefer Lange to be the game 1 guy.

Maybe I've been mislead by the garbage video on my Apple TV, but Auburn has squared up a bunch of balls. Like I said, he is battling and I've always liked that about him. I don't think he's been sharp tonight though. Maybe "awful" was a bit much.

When you are down 2-0 and have to serve up a BP fastball for a strike, that kind of thing tends to happen.
This ump has been absolutely terrible.
