This, they are playing 6 freshmen, dont have a 4 or 5 star player anywhere on their squad, and will finish at the bottom of the Big XII.

But hey, a bunch of 18 year olds coached by Tubby is making our future NBA players look turrible

He was shooting threes last Saturday too for some reason.

He should be called out for his lack of intensity during games. He stands up at least. Trent didn't even do that.

He's virtually never leading his team. Just spectating, like the rest of his staff.

Fans are still melting from the football so it's creeping into the basketball game.

The 76ers don't even have the talent and athleticism of Kentucky

His first year was a great coaching job IMHO. Last year was disappointing. Let's see how he fares with his own players and the types of players he likes to work with before we throw in the towel, no?

I'm starting to think this might be the case. Either that or his recruits are too dumb to be coachable.

This could be similar to the Quarterman jacking up 3's disaster that was last year for Epps.

That's when you step in as a coach and say you're 6'9 with a ton of athleticism, if you dont go inside and score you're running 10 suicides for every 3 you take and miss

No inside scoring or even an attempt at it. Everyone on the team is taking quick jump shots. Martin and Mickey don't want to work for it just fire it up. Gray has made some bad decisions. Hornsby cold as ice. Defense is terrible. Going to a zone was a mistake. Playing right into Tech's game.

that type of complete implosion they just had in the last 10 min is the exact time that a good coach takes control and gets the team back in order and focused.

Nah. Johnny's like...it's all cool bro. Just keep going guys..clap clap...get me a coke...

I kept looking back expecting him to explode on the guys for just jacking up threes..... nope... no big deal

the concerning part is through a year and a game and a half our d is still trash. I agree his first year was a great coaching job by him. He showed intensity during games, we pressed a lot more than I thought we would as well. Now we just kinda sluggishly play our way through games and he doesn't do a mother fricking thing besides fold his arms.

I think this team will be fine. Just have to gel first. Also, they took some decent shots in the first half(excluding last couple minutes), they just didn't drop. That's basketball sometimes. It's early guys. Relax.

Gray needs to stop shooting. Too many other good players on this team.
