LSU is fighting against USC for style points at this juncture, and lets face it USC has all the voters riding their dick. LSU needs to blow out these teams by a great margin to catch up to them.

The actual scores are factored into the BCS computer-rankings equation, no ?

Margin of Victory CANNOT be a part of the BCS components used from computer scores, so it won't matter there. Only place it would matter is if some dipshit coaches look at the score and think winning 31-10 is less impressive than 31-10. We still won by 3 TDs, they got their TD drive (minus the last actual play) on our 3rd string defense, not even second string.

Later guys - now we get to hear from all the idiots tomorrow how we should've won this 70-0 and how bad our running game is.

Nah. If we beat Bama and Fla we jump them anyway. We would probably jump them if we beat bama

BTW, we can't worry about rankings. They are irrelevant at this point.

SEC standings matter more. We just need to keep winning and hope Alabama slips up.

Still wondering how you guys figure style points are not a factor, they are in no equation but they reflect in each voter's actions.

And scoring/driving on the 3rd string doesn't matter, the voters/coaches will not know better since they most likely didn't see any of the game at all.

Do an undefeated Texas, and Iowa go in ahead of LSU? Does a 1 loss USC go ahead of LSU?

Les Miles claims he doesn't watch other teams' games unless it is our next opponent.

Yet, he still votes in the rankings?

The commentators were very high on LSU the whole game. LSU-Alabama match-up is going to be huge. Can Alabama run over this LSU defense?
