Dale was a great motivator, and at his best honestly when his team was more about overacheivers than superstars. That said, one doesn't have a team with 4 first round caliber NBA picks and not advance any further than those teams did and come off as a great coach.

LSU is still in this if they can capitalize on their possessions and actually make their damn free throws....gonna be tough with any shots in the paint getting foul calls from the refs for SMU.
