2 complete games on the mound... knew LSU bats weren't great but SBU pitching just dominated (aside from the 8-12th innings of game 1)
and the Seawolves bats were outstanding... made every 1 of the LSU pitchers work hard... fouled off alot of pitches
they were 1 overrun fly ball in foul territory from sweeping LSU
SBU earned it... tough to say but they were the absolute better team in this series
and they are no 4-seed... only team in NCAA with 50+ Ws and they go to Miami and beat up on Miami then here to The Box and dominate LSU seemingly all 3 games... they are much better than their seed

what i do not understand is that colleges would absolutely kill to have football team in national championship, basketball in NIT, softball in WCWS girls track national champions and baseball team in super regionals. LSU athletics is one of the best in the country

Wow... Just wow. Good game SB.
I have to say a thing or two. Who'd have thought with all the claimed depth we had at pitching, that we'd go through 6 pitchers and their starter would pitch a complete game. My hats off to this team. They outplayed us in every facet of the game.
2nd thing, that outfield that SB has is just outstanding. They ran down everything. Amazing!
3rd thing... It was a great season and I hope we come back next year with better bats, gloves, base running, etc....

SB is a solid team. LSU did not have an answer and that should not happen. The horseshoe in SBs arse did not hurt either.
