Went to the game. The players are there. Poorly coached and poor game decision. This head coach does not have it. Sorry he is a duffus.

This is the same guy who was "Done" with this team last year after a 16-inning win over Bama. Then he was done in Omaha.
In November LSU was going to lose to aTm, Arkansas, and the bowl game as well because Miles is an awful coach.

Maneri is not the problem. He has proven to be a pretty good coach, the problem is hitting, and I honestly feel the bats have a ton to do with it, but clearly Javi needs to either adapt or GTFO. It seems like every year at some point, really good hitters slump horribly, much longer than a normal slump, and there is little to no timely hitting. This team has talent, but right now we need some guys to start hitting and we have got to find a stable Sunday guy. It's still early though and I expect the tigers to get it going after mid-season like always.

If Dean would have gone home, he would have been out at plate. Ball was in 3rd basemans glove by time Dean was 4 steps from bag. 3rd baseman almost applied tag on Dean trying to get back to bag.. Left fielder was playing shallow and came up on line drive. Dean did right in my opinion

Can I assume all of the usuals were discussed?
Laird would have been thrown out. Easily.
Dean would have been nailed. Easily. But you still could have sent him with the game on the line, but why with only 1 out?
My question to CPM would have been why pull your best hitter (KS) in the 7th I think.....would not have done that don't care if he's as slow as a calendar.
