You'd probably bitch if he had a bad outing after another week of rest... you'd probably say he should have pitched a week early because he's rusty. Don't be mad because you're getting called on it. Back injuries are different than others. Rest is sometimes worse than getting back as soon as possible. Looks like giving Newman an inning was a great move.
