Never got a response last time I asked yesterday, but is there any link to see which umps called which games? I'd like to see which other games this guy and the one yesterday did this CWS.

Did you miss the second strike 2 feet off the plate?

It's like yesterday all over again. Down 0-2 on every batter.

that's what happens when your strategy is to keep the bats on your shoulder early in the count to try to stretch out a pitcher's pitch count.

we've been doing this all year. it isn't a coincidence that we come alive in the 2nd half of games. It's what we do. Do I like the fact that we pretty much wait until we have 2 strikes on us the first time through the lineup? No, but it's how we play. And, it's worked out for us so far this year.

or so you wouldn't jeopardize the potential first pick in next year's draft entire career? I don't know, just a guess

at being the first pick

Also could he really ruin his career pitching today when he pitched Friday? I am not a pitcher, but that seems kind of overboard.

The guys on the radio called today's' strike zone a lot more liberal than last nights.

Pitching and defense have to hold for a few innings. We need a couple looks to get this pitcher.

the second strike wasn't a good call but he struck out looking on a strike. he should have swung, that's the bottom line.

yeah, they make contact on ours. Ross' record is really 6-7, with a high ERA. What's the point in starting someone with a losing record?
