Bain was sliding when the ball was crossing 2nd and Cabrera was rounding 1st. Why on earth would the SS do anything but cut it off

Was a heads up play by Arkansas to cut off that throw. A little too aggressive base running cost us a run that inning IMO.
Always good to have a guy on 3rd with less than 2 outs.
