I agree, but why? With a pitcher that has thrown more balls than strikes?
PM can get way too cute with small ball bullshite at times instead of just letting our players hit. it's very frustrating

even if he was scratched without tonight's game in mind, it worked out well. we have a guy starting on 10 days rest and then our two best pitchers on normal rest. wouldn't have mattered anyways last sunday since we couldn't do anything at the plate.

And other people get frustrated when he doesn't bunt or steal or hit and run (e.i. ground into double plays).
