I wonder if coaching is put on the back burner and they just hope to win with talent alone. There are many telling signs that these players have no baseball IQ, awareness in crucial situations or just going through the motions. I am probably wrong.

Well I’m just glad we were able to salvage our perception of being an elite team and preserve as much RPI as possible by at least winning our meaningless mid wee- oh, wait...

Longest 9th inning ever!! Seriously thank you Cheer for what you do just got back on from the power outage earlier. Hopefully we can win the next 2 somehow!

Just so you guys know what to expect out of Murphy tonight, he look OK but not great give up an early single HR then look lights out for about four to five innings and then give up another HR and we will pull him. That has seriously been the basic script all year (other than Florida when he must have owed a Tampa shark a lot of money). The questions are: will the second HR be a single or multiple and how deep will he go. If we have to put Reindl out there in the 5th after a bad inning we will lose, if we are up when we pull him in the 7th we win the series.
Also, look back at Knight’s career here, until last night he had not given up a single earned run against you guys in his career. He started looking tired down the stretch last year too, just like you guys we try to pull too many pitches out of our starters. Our pen is a little better, but not by much since Cronin is out.
Sunday should be interesting, you could get good Campbell which shut Auburn and South Carolina out. Or you could get the guy who looks like he would rather be playing video games at home that we pull after an inning and a couple runs.
