It's like Mike Alstott had a kid and taught him how to run a route. One of my favorite RBs for ASU ever, and basically everyone who starts here for 2 years gets a chance in the league. I don't think he's as talented as Rachaad White was, but he does some things that are unusual now. If he's fast enough to get to the edge in the NFL, he's gonna eat because he always falls forward and it's tough to bring him down by yourself. He's got short little tree trunk legs and runs low on top of it.

Jayden Daniels 2nd year (4 games in COVID) was basically a disaster in that they were probably the best team in the Pac 12 but lost 2 games due to bullshite and freshman wide receivers. Granted, those freshmen wound up being NFL players but Johnny Wilson dropped like 3 or 4 passes against USC. JD and Rachaad White still had them up 13 with the ball with like 4 minutes to play, and then they lost control.
Then ASU just missed a month. One side of the ball got COVID, then the other side got COVID. They'd been off the field right up until the UCLA game and went down huge... Then roared back, but UCLA scored at the end to win.
Then they fricking annihilated the last two teams. They beat Arizona so bad there were billboards on the freeway between Phoenix and Tucson.
Brought back a loaded team but the NCAA stuff, the coaches got fired, and they blew a bunch of games. Still won 8 or 9 or whatever, but they should have been competing. They had the 5th most combine invites and that didn't include 2x All Pac 12 Tyler Johnson (medical), 2x All Pac 12Jermayne Lole (medical), JD5, Ricky Pearsall, Omarr Norman-Lott, Eric Gentry, Johnny Wilson, Tommi Hill, etc.

That’s a mouthful! I’m glad to see ASU back in the upper echelon! They always had great receivers! Now they have a Swiss knife like weapon to add to their offense!

And Fifita had a 166 passer rating in 2023! He’s a stud ! The school and coaches let him down this year

He'll be off the board in the first 20 picks unless something comes up about him. Extremely physically talented. Can be just straight up dominant.

Our next good QB might not be on the roster right now. It’s very possible especially if Nuss leaves.
