Can we just play the Western Kentucky’s And get the first game jitters out-of-the-way?
I’m not afraid to play the big game, but if our past says anything, get ready for another loss to start the season…

with how kelly shits the bed in openers he needs as easy a path as possible.
SEC just got way tougher as if it was not tough enough to get through and get in a 2 team BCS titles game or a 4 team playoff.
scrap these games and schedule creampuffs. we have to make sure we get in top 12 moving forward. these games are worthless with no more computer rankings or the old SOS factor in the old BCS.

Clemson and Dabo are smiling. 2024 will be a disaster for them, but they will get to start 2025 with an easy W over an SEC team that will likely be in the top 15 just because.

And we most likely will have a new QB if Nuss goes on to have a really good year. He is a redshirt Jr. And we will have a completely new offensive line. We lose 4 of 5 with the only one left at center. So rookie qb and new oline playing an experienced Clemson team. 0-1 again. LSU is probably already at 3 losses this season unless you think we upset Alabama and/or Ole Miss. There are 5 other teams in the SEC that will have less than 3 losses, same for the Big 10 and Notre Dame and Miami and the winner of the Big 12. So getting in the top 12 now probably not going to happen this season. Next season the defense is probably ascending while the offense is going the other way. So now we are looking at 2026 before being in contention to get to the top 12.

Verge Ausberry should be fired. Look around at the other sec schools and see who they play on the first week. Tune up game to get to 1-0.

We should 100% schedule a week 0 game vs Grambling or someone like that. These week one losses are season killers.

This is just a reminder that Clemson was blown out in their last 2 openers, one of those being Duke.
