We were in all 3 guys projected final 4. But LSU fans think the world is ending. DO NOT misunderstand me, last night was terrible. BUT really can't say that the past has been any different when LSU plays lesser opponents.

That's as of today. If you paid attention, they all said that as we move into the meat of our schedule, we won't be able to be as one-dimensional as we have been. The passing game must come along to complement the strong rushing attack. There are teams left on our schedule that are built to stop our rushing attack. Right now, I don't have a lot a confidence in our passing game that they will be able to answer the bell when called upon. Here we sit with 4 games under our belts and we have yet to see any consistency with our passing game. At some point that will be needed.

Les has taken a page from Ali's playbook - this is the ole rope-a-dope. Les is playing a game of chess - not within individual games, but over the season. When we lull Bama into stacking the box, Harris will be 46-52 for 632 yards. Lf7 will get 4 carries.

I can't speak for everyone ... but, I don't think that, and even if I did, it would have nothing to do with LSU.
Regarding LSU ... I just think we looked poor vs. a team that is not very good. At home.
ARMY had more yards passing vs. EMU (a week ago) than LSU did.
(Oh ... and they also had more rushing yards and more points.)

I completely agree with the need for a passing game and was just as upset with last nights performance as anyone. I'm simply pointing out the fact that LSU is in a good position and that can get better and do great things. Not one team in the nation has played dominant to this point, they all have things they need to get better at. We have the talent necessary to fix our problems, just seriously lacking execution.

This post was more directed to the whiners saying we wouldn't win another game, fire every coach, we suck so bad, OMG! This wasn't directed towards the fans pointing out glaring deficiencies in our really talented football team.

They don't know LSU like LSU fans know LSU.

LSU has the potential to be a good, or great team. The passing game and special teams need to be straightened out, in particular. Also disturbing was the lack of ability to stop the weak side screen pass vs. EMU.

Speaks volumes about Les Miles coaching philosophy

LSU always plays down to their competition. ALWAYS.

LSU can beat every team left on the schedule with just their running game with the exception of Bama.

They predicted a final four, not a current four.

yes it does, Les will always do everything possible, against all opponents, to run clock in the second half vs. piling up stats.

Well god knows Les will try at least. Never will be just implement a scheme that works.

Florida might have something to say about that. They have a formidable defense and their offense seems to be coming around.

We'll ride this running game all the way to Atlanta. Chick fil A Bowl.

That is much more likely to happen when you run a power I offense that doesn't expose the large talent gap on the edges.

This is something that I wouldn't put past Miles crazy arse except for the fact that this has played out before and the passing game still looks bad.

They do but their weakness is matched up against LSU's strength and that's the interior of their defensive line. Their strength is the secondary and LSU isn't going to pass much.
