Funny thing about LSU fans

We get offended when an Arkansas/Auburn/etc. fan brings up the National Championship game, yet we are the first ones to boast to Bama fans after A&M beats them.
I hate Alabama as much as the next person, but it's hard to run my mouth to a Bama fan for losing to a team other than ours, especially because we didn't take care of business ourselves. I'm just trying to provide some perspective. Take it for what its worth.

agree. why I have not flamed Bama. well maybe just a little. 
Seriously though we bitch about everything. We just beat a quality Moo State team last night. I'm feeling pretty good about that win considering i believe that they could have easily won that game without a couple of breakdowns on D.

A difference here is that Bama was coming off of a tough game with us. Our fans feel somewhat responsible for aTm's win yesterday. Seems to me there's some truth in that. Doesn't make it right, but trolls gotta troll.

Bama had not played a team all year until Lsu. The should have lost but their luck ran out Sat. I think some of it had to do playing Lsu Last week as Bama wasn't the same team last night! Living up here u & I disagree, I hate bama because of their arse whole fans!!!

I feel bad for you for having to live among those people, but still doesn't change my view. I just think it's hypocritical for our fan base to get so offended when someone (other than Bama fans) mention the national championship and then turn right around and become that same third-party heckler that we loathe so much.

Should LATech fans feel somewhat responsible for LSU's win over A&M? Not only did they cancel a game that could have been played to take away A&M's bye week, they played them down to the wire in a game that ended very late.
The moral victory bullshite is getting out of hand.

Not really. Bama defense has been overrated all season. They played two quality teams and lost one and minutes from losing both.

We had good reasons for being more excited about the Bama loss. First, we expected to beat Miss State. The loss to Bama was unexpected and helps our program. It's not good for recruiting for Bama to win another NC with the media hyping them as having the greatest coach ever. In addition, with the loss came the slim possibility that we could end up in the SEC Championship game. I know the chances of Auburn beating Bama are slim, but stranger things have happened.

Sickening how the media has been all over Saban's nuts. I thought he walked on water with that overrated defense.
Can't wait to hear the media nut suckers prop of his pathetic defense as being one of the best ever and laying eggs when they played two good teams.

I never said I wasn't happy about the result. A&M played a heck of a game, and hats off to them for going into BDS and knocking off the #1 team in the country. No team is unbeatable, and that's why you play the game. The Aggies played great football yesterday and they deserve credit.
I was just frustrated with the way that some of our fans have taken this as a moral victory, like it was the Tigers who went in there and beat Bama. I think our fans have talked more trash to Bama fans than A&M fans have, undeservedly so.
