Watching the saints today and the full back is doing WORK. Seems like LSU has yet to show any looks with a full back. Is Brady hiding it for bama or the playoff? If there aren’t any plays in the playbook yet I hope we add them before the playoff

Saints go several games without using a FB, though. It depends on the game plan.

Joe Brady wasn’t the architect of the Saints offense.

I thought a majority of his offense and philosophy was largely from his time at with the saints?

Joe Brady was brought in to New Orleans to help out with the RPO.

Penn State... the saints offense didn't become good because he was there

Contrary to popular belief, LSU does not run a Saints offense. LSU's playbook has very little in common with the Saints.

We had a solid fullback miles entire tenure. Maybe you should watch some old game film to get your fix

In the series in which we had 1st and goal at the 3, I would have loved to have seen a quick shift with Burrow under center with Moss and Clyde in the I for a play or 2.

In no way am I saying I want the old offense back. But completely dominating it seems illogical as it can be beneficial in the right situations

I think that once Aron mofit and Tory Carter graduate, there will be two scholarships that will go to other positions.

I assume that we’d only use an hback/TE for such plays and that the scholarship would go to OLine or TE.

Niothing against these two, but if the position isn’t needed and we are chewing up yardage, we will create more depth elsewhere.

Because we don’t line up in I formation. I think you’re confusing a whole offensive scheme with offensive concept.

We run a spread offense with the Saints route concepts .

The Saints actually run a west coast scheme with those same concepts. The Saints rely more on an intermediate passing game mixed with play action.

While we use some of those same route concepts, we like to attack more vertically.

You are probably right. But in short yardage situations I would love to see Tory Carter knocking something heads off For our rb

Agreed, how I wish that touchdown counted. I would love to see some more H-Back formation with Carter leading up. Or possibly running a rail route like Peyton Hillis killed us with.

Much rather see the tight end involved than the fullback. What Brady has done with Moss in this offense is amazing. Don’t really care about the fullback.

Having Tory in occasionally for blocking or a extra receiver is a no brainer. Don't see why they never use him. Heck, just send him in to hurt somebody.

They could put Carter Sullivan and Moss in the bunch set without changing the offense. We could run out of that on the goal line.

We need to line up in the I some. You have to be multiple.
