He got strong armed by Florida's AD. That's why he kept saying things like "turmoil" in the family. Joe called bullshite on this from the beginning. The only person who didn't see it for what it was is Stankey.

what a totally useless a..hole we have for a commissioner; he should be running for president with the moron and traitor...when Florida refused the offers made by LSU, he should have said: fine,
you just forfeited the game...With SEC officials screwing the living shite out of tennessee tonight, florida got exactly what they wanted. incidentally, it was 82 and sunny in gainesville today; tomorrow and monday are forecasted to be in mid-70s with a very small chance of srain...obviously, the game could have went on any of the 3 days and the evacuee argument is total bs...for the first time in all the years he's been broadcasting, i have some respect for gary danielson because he asked hard questions and this politician sob sidestepped them as good as obama or clinton could have

Get Mike Slive back in there. When he screwed LSU over at least you knew you were getting screwed over by a boss. When Sankey screws LSU over, and he will, it will feel like screwed over by a SJW.

I don't need to listen to the interview to understand that Sankey did what any good politician will do: He is protecting one of his special interests.
This conference is run by Bama, UF, and then Auburn. In that order. Everyone else can suck it.
With UT losing yesterday, this gives the SEC Commish the opportunity to have his two highest grossing teams in the SECCG again this season. That is what he wants. That is his job: create revenue. If screwing second tier teams like LSU and Tenn is part of that, so be it.
Sankey, for all intents and purposes had a great weekend. Bama is one step closer to a West title, and now UF literally is in the driver's seat for the East since UT will lose to Bama soon.
UF can get rested up for their run. Now you force one of Bama's rivals (LSU) into playing three straight road games. Kill two birds with one stone: Eliminate a rejuvenated LSU team and allow UF time to rest for the game. LSU WILL be worn out by the third road game.
Win win win win

Sorry EZE Tiger Fan...meant to up vote. Good summary of a disciple situation. Suggestion...Gary Danielson as the new SEC Commish. He made Sankey look like a complete spineless soul leading the full interest of the SEC.

He helped them pull it off, so he must now provide cover for the decision and, especially, his own arse. Wow. LSU takes it in the shorts...again. Stand by for another shot to the pills...The bias in the SEC, and CFB for that matter, is palpable.
One can only hope that the Tigers win out and convincingly so sans the UF game and let CFB then deny them a place at the playoff table.

What a disgrace!! The SEC commissioner is either out of his league or in the hands of UF. Or both. It's all just a little too neat. It was embarrassing to watch Miami, Notre Dame, and EVERY other Florida/East Coast team play. How did South Carolina make such a clear and wise choice? They had the same data UF had. Why are their people so much smarter than the SEC? I hope LSU wins every game and forces the SEC to sweat.
