Our stance should be: the sec should change the rules for getting into conf championships when they allow a team to deliberately avoid playing on the scheduled weekend when there are safe options available, and if not, we will consider opening rescheduling discussions after Nov 5 (assuming things go well before then) to see if WE need the game, but in no circumstances will we play an sec game on Nov 19 without moving either Ark or A&M game so that we don't have 3 sec games in 12 days - it's for the safety of our student athletes...

A fundamental difference between college and pro...no national (or conference) commissioner with final authority to truly decide and order anything. Ultimately it's up to the individual schools (i.e., presidents). He seemed to be saying nothing will be decided unless it's by consensus, including any other schools that might be affected (e.g., GA) by schedule changes to make it happen.

What a terrible interview by Stankey! He made himself look terrible! How is this guy the commissioner of the SEC? I like the last question when he was asked if it was basically his decision to make sure the game was played. His response "we need to come together as a family." What an embarrassment to the SEC.
