D looked great. I still have faith that the O would have. I mean, we were about to start right at the 50.
THANKS, OP!
I think our D has a chip on their shoulder after Chief did them the way he did. They are playing like they have something to prove. Chief didn't make DBU. LSU IS STILL DBU!

I've watched the jet sweep to Jackson several times at quarter speed.
I need something to overanalyze.
~The linebackers recognized the play and immediately broke after Jackson. Look for us to run that same play a time or two more and then set up for it again but hand off to Fournette or have Harris keep it and run to the other side.
~Jeter whiffed on his block. He left his feet and went low too early and came up short. The CB was able to spin around him and keep his balance and ended up being in on the tackle.
~If Jeter makes that block and takes out the corner, it likely impedes the route that the linebackers took to Jackson and he goes for a big gain.

Having Donte on those jet sweeps will put fear into opposing defenses when he eventually breaks one. There's tons of things you can do with that play. I'd love to see a fake jet then toss it to Fournette on a swing route.

So much speed on this defense. Very evident even with little game time

little thing and probably no surprise but I noticed Jackson stayed on the field and was looking at the sideline for the call before he left. Maybe there's more possible plays for him to be involved in beyond the sweep.

Amazing how many of their team members have the same last name.

Thanks for doing this! I am in France and the watch ESPN won't stream internationally and this is the first time I've seen any of it. Massive buzzkill that all the fans and players get screwed out of a great warm up game.
Small observation I saw was that LSU had the appearance they were going to really allow a lot of players onto the field to see how they'd perform, and it didn't look as though Cameron was going to call a conservative game-at least initially.
The good news is no injuries. And also I'm glad we play MSU first since Harris should have some confidence against that team. I'd be more nervous if we had to play Auburn at home before St on the road.
