Why rank them 5th? If they are saying the QB being out is the reason, then UGA, Ohio St, Oregon, Missouri, hell even LSU would beat them.

So if Alabama would’ve lost a qb to injuries they wouldn’t be in the playoffs? This is just ridiculous

They knew the decision they made was bullshite. So they had to throw FSU a bone by putting them ahead of Georgia who was the consensus number one team for the entire f’ing season.

Its almost like you people dont follow college football at all.

FSU has an elite defense which is their strength.

Correct. That is what I am saying. They should either be 4th or 10th. Not 5th. Either they are a good team all season or their QB injury should move them all the way down, not just one spot down. The committee is contradicting itself.

Which did nothing.

The committee just wanted large markets in the game. Texas and Alabama assure viewers.

That defense doesn't keep them in the game against any of the 4 teams that went ahead of them, or UGA, or even Mizzou and many others at this point.

Their performance since, really LSU - who didn't have it all figured out at that point, has been bad. So, what? They won a weak conference. How many years in a row do you want to watch a "deserving" team get blown the frick out in the playoffs - which is what REALLY delegitimizes the process. UGA should be in the playoffs over Washington.

12 team will be so good. First round will just further prove the point that this year was the first year they semi got it right in a long time. It honestly doesn't matter though. Whoever wins the Bama / Michigan game wins the Natty. That's why they put Bama in.

If you think Verse or Coleman (their #1's on both sides of the ball) is playing in the non playoff bowl game then I have some waterfront land off of Plank Road in North Batin Rudge to sell you. Only $300k per quarter acre - Stunning. Amenities abound.
