Frustrating loss but felt good about last night.

Frustrating at times but overall, felt good about last night.
This is a brand new coaching staff. We literally overhauled most of the roster. Takes time for OL chemistry to gel, QB and receivers to get on same page, etc. We are running the ball much better than last year, which means the run blocking is much better.
Defense was playing a team with two All American or Heisman candidates in the backfield and unlike Les Miles, Ole miss didn't have an offense determined to be one dimensional.
There was no quit in the team nor were there three Ole Miss rushers beating 6 offensive linemen as happened last year.
Now if Sam can actually figure out how to hit a receiver. That would be nice.

People need to also understand that there will always be people who never wanted Lane. Hate that the Governor is involved, etc. And they’re always going to jump on a loss. I’m not saying that’s everyone criticizing. Understand that. But there will always be some. Always is. Always will be. See through that and disregard them. Fair criticism is welcome though and there’s plenty to talk about.

It was a tough loss, The Tigers showed they can come back and play better defense in the 2nd half.
There is still a lot of season left, hopefully LSU will not have to play against a QB who should be in his 3rd year with the Cleveland Browns.

Expected to go 1-1 these next 2 anyway but that game was winnable despite being a no show in the first half. Sucks losing Trey Dez and Baker ain’t worth that 3 mil. We have to contain Marcel Reed and I’m not sure we can.

Marcel reed isn’t half the QB Chambliss is. Plus Chambliss only had like 20 rushing yards

I actually feel a lot better this morning. Wasn't too bummed during the game, etc.
That was the elephant on the back having to go in there again this year.
Kiffin, he'll work with Leavitt and he'll get better as the season goes on.
The game wasn't about rosters, etc...that was a mind frick, situation.
