Not a fan of pro coaches, especially failed hcs, coming to the college level. I never have been. I also don’t like that O’Brien only has 2 years HC in college and he gets such credit because he took over a team under sanctions. I rather see a coach lose less even if it means without adversity.

I'd rather it come down to Napier, Fickle, and James Franklin.
I think they run solid programs from top to bottom. Have coordinators who will follow.

I don't know who wrote the Hayride article but I'd put money on it being an idiot that don't know shite about modern college football. Urban isn't coming here and the rest are a big hell no. This is some list he made up in his head because if this is truly the LSU Admin's list then we are fricked.

Hate Coach O all you want but at least try & be factual when criticizing him. Specifically, that idiotic comment re his divorce being caused by him cheating on his wife which led to her pill addiction. As is well known, her problems with pain pill addiction was tied to her back surgeries & resulting pain pill prescriptions. From many accounts, Coach O tried & tried to work it out, many failed attempts at counseling, till it just reached a point to where he saw no resolution & had enough.
