"No, not just in name, Ensminger is the offensive coordinator. He coordinates the whole offense, makes the game plans, calls the plays, runs the show. He was very much involved in the design and installation of Joe Brady's new offense. Brady is the passing coordinator and quarterbacks coach, works with Ensminger on making game plans, calling plays, whatever. An interesting little side note, Joe Burrow was involved in setting up the new offense, too, and is regularly asked to meet with Ensminger and Brady setting up game plans. That kid's football smarts are off the chart. Orgeron says the first time they met with Joe about transferring to LSU, it was a meeting of five people that lasted six hours. Says Joe was the smartest person in the room."

And this is why O has become successful. He doubled down on his strengths by realizing his limitations and bringing it people that could do what he couldn’t. It’s why IMO the program will thrive with him as the helm even though the rest of the faces will change.

And yet they could not find place for him to start at OSU?

Can't wait until Burrow retires from the NFL and comes home to LSU to Coach us into the stratosphere...

Joe Burrow's football IQ is off the chart. You can't beat the Tigers with him in the game. And that's is bad news for the rest of the CFP teams this year.

The smartest guy in the room is the one who recognizes he isn’t the smartest guy in the room and figures out how to find the best and brightest and uses them to his advantage.
