IDK, they weren't exactly saying wonderful things about O. Talked about pursuing Herman then Jimbo and settling on O. They also pondered what if LSU had gone after Dan Mullen.

the QB order had become Burrow, McMillan, Brennan and Narcisse

If true, I don’t know that Brennan will ever be the guy. I can understand him not unseating a senior in his first year, but being behind McMillan in year 2 is not a good sign and it has nothing to do with weight. He may be a career backup here. I had high hopes.

McMillan is not an SEC Qb. Neither were Jennings, rivers,Scott
Miles and Cameron were horrible at Qb evaluations

I guess that’s why McMillan thanked Miles and Cameron but didn’t mention O or Ensminger on Twitter.

They were the coaches that recruited him and offered him a scholarship. They were the reason he was at LSU.

I got the feeling that not all was well when he mentioned Miles and Cameron specifically in his transfer tweet but not O or Ensminger by name.

If true, I’m glad he’s gone.

Me first attitude.

If this is spin, what's the end game to trash McMillan? He didn't trash LSU, so why spin and say he was a distraction?? Don't think this is spin.

If true it shows what an immature knucklehead McMillan is.
That's an idiotic comment and the kid is not being immature, but showed passion in wanting to play. If he was immature he would have said something like that as soon as he arrived at LSU, but no this kid did everything they asked of him in being patient and biding his time. But even after all of that they take an offer a kid from Oho St the chance to be the starting QB, I played ball myself and I would be incensed after that. McMillan deserved the chance to play, really he deserved the chance to play last season in his backup role to Etling, but got shut out. It's really kinda fricked up that this kid never got the chance to play hardly a down at LSU, and he wasn't a bad player, but the only damn way you're going to get better is by playing in live SEC games. Etling screwed up enough in some games last season that they could have sent McMillan in then for a change of pace to let him start getting experienced PT in those games, but in what had to be an insult to him all the more they sent a true frosh (Brennan) in to get PT. LOL That's fricking crazy, no, McMillan has reason to be mad, he really didn't get a fair shake. He showed class even after all of that in thanking LSU and it's fans, and to the coaches that he felt he owed respect to.

They also said that sources said McMillan was demanding the staff name him starter after spring

No offense to the kid, but this statement is beyond laughable. He didn't have a great spring at all. He didn't deserve to be a starter. He just happened to be the tallest midget in this scenario. With a better QB in Burrow transferring here, he knew he had no chance.

One more thing they said. LSU offered McMillan in the hope they could land his team mate 5 Star WR Damarkus Lodge who ended up at Ole Miss. I guess to LSU's credit they honored the scholarship.

Lol if McMillan thought he had that kind of stroke.

He was more likely forcing the coaches hand instead of being played. Probably got the answer he expected.

Uhh Urb drug it out to. Meyer didn’t even name Haskins the starter. Burrow and fam got out in front of it sooner and They were smart enough to know if they weren’t sure he had a real good chance of starting that a change needed to be made before fall camps started

I'll say it again. If true, it shows what an immature knucklehead McMillan is. And no, it didn't show "class" when he selectively thanked Les and Cam but left out O and Ensminger. It's more evidence of being an immature knucklehead.

Maybe it does typically, but it was on and most of the comments were from Michael Moore. I usually don't listen, but I had AM 1130 on and they were talking about the QB situation. Maybe it was a teaser for the 6PM show.

At 5PM JJ and Bonzai came on and I immediately switched back to music.

Assuming the initial statements were true - that he was demanding to be the starter, regardless of whether he actually had beaten out his competition, and he was becoming a locker room distraction, then yes, he would still be an immature knucklehead.

The tweet selectively thanking Miles and Cam and being silent about O and Ensminger was obviously meant to slight O and Ensminger. Unlike what the previous poster said, it did not show class. Showing class would be thanking both coaching staffs or just keeping a dignified silence.

I'm saying this and I am someone who is pretty critical of O, so this is not some sort of defense of O post. Show some professionalism and gratitude for the opportunity on the way out.

Hester has more than one show called Hanging With Hester if I'm not mistaken and he does multiple shows throughout the day. The show on 104.5 starts at 6 pm.

You don't choose your starting QB based on seniority, you play the best QB.
